Self Publishing a book in Nigeria

I believe there are a lot of talented writers in Nigeria but not all of them may have te opportunity of securing a deal with a reputable publisher. Well, the good news is that you can actually publish your own book yourself without having to use a huge capital.

How do you self publish?
You just need to leverage on the opportunities the internet is providing you by looking for global publishers who would publish it for you for almost free and actually pay you royalty for sales made on your behalf

Here is what this process involves:
- Make sure you'v already written down your manuscript or what your book is to contain
- You sign up as an author with a global publisher using the internet
- You give them right to publish and market your book
- You receive royalty credits for every sale and it can be flexible
- You set the price
- You create the back cover of your proposed book
- You upload your manuscript in digital form
- You also help in marketing your product
- You monitor sales and performance by logging into your account

The publisher I recommend is Createspace.com and you can sell on platforms like Amazon, createspace and even buy copies yourself at a discount and for resale.

Writing a book is profitable
One good thing about writing a book is that you only write it once but it keeps getting sold over and over again just like Chinua Achebe's Things fall about written in the 1950s.
