Aliexpress is an eCommerce site that deals mostly on high quality Chinese products. The site operates just like Alibaba, the only different is that Aliexpress sells in smaller quantities to retailers while Alibaba comprised of mostly manufactures that sell in bulk quantities. They have thousands of products that range from electronic gadgets, computers, and home gadgets Mobile phone to Apparels, Sports equipment and many more, and they work with shipping companies to ship products to international destinations.

In this article, I will write how Nigerians can order for products on Aliexpress and get it down here in Nigeria.

Things you need to order from Aliexpress:
A computer with internet connection, your credit card or Paypal account loaded with the amount you need to make the transaction; finally a valid shipping address. It seems they only accepts cards from Nigeria funded in US dollars for now.

Head over to www.aliexpress.com and click on register, enter your details on the registration form, and activate your account through the activation link sent to your email address. Log into your account and search for the product you wish to purchase, and the quantity you want to buy; there are options for shipping companies that will deliver the product to Nigeria, with the cost of delivery and estimate time it will take.

Choose from the shipping company and click on checkout; it will take you to a payment page where you will enter your payment details and your shipping information. The seller ships out your product and sends you a tracking number to track the item while it is on transit. If you are shipping with a company like DHL, they deliver the item to your address.
