How to get a USA address from Nigeria

If you are in Nigeria and love to shop online from USA stores and get it shipped to Nigeria, you would probably need a USA address. Also, if you would love receiving magazine subscriptions, mails or just in need of a location in the USA without physically being there, you would need to have a USA address.

There could be many ways you could get an American address from Nigeria but the best I've seen so far is one with MyUs.

Things you would need to get a USA address with MyUs
- A dollar denominated visa or mastercard with a Nigerian billing address
- Sufficient funds in the card
- An internet connection

How to get the USA address
Personally I would advice you get a personal internet connection because of the risk of identify theft in publc cafes across Nigeria. Nowadays, you can get a personal internet connection with as low as N100 a day or N500 a week adn that should do for this case.
- Go to MyUS and sign up for an account (I recommend a Premier account at about $60 a year)
- Pay for the account using your Nigerian visa or mastercard
- Use your shipping address as your address in Nigeria
- Your account should be setup in a few minutes and you would receive a feedback email

Now that you have a USA mailing address
- You can shop from online US stores
- You can receive magazines and lots of stuff even for free mailed to you
- You set your shipping address on your shopping account as the US address you are given by myUS
- Items get shipped to your USA address
- You decide when you want to finally ship to Nigeria and pay the shipping fees.
