You won't believe that on a monthly basis, Google is actually paying millions of Naira to smart Nigerians who have learnt how to make money online.

They've got a solid internet presence that attracts thousands of people on a daily weekly and monthly basis and have a formal relationship with Google that allows them to make money from internet advertising.

There is a growing number of Nigerians who make money on the internet through a partnership that they have with Google and they do so by creating and publishing content that majority of people find useful. They are called Adsense publishers and their work basically involves creating and publishing content such as text, pictures and videos to the web for the use of the general public.

The Adsense publishers became partners with Google by signing up for a program with called Google Adsense which allows them to make money by simply distributing web content for free.

Some of them make as little as N30,000 per month while there are some who makes as much as N500,000 per month and this is basically as a result of the attractiveness of their web content.

In a year, some adsense publishers in Nigeria earn as much as N10m while some earn around N1m while some are still struggling to at least reach the N1m mark by the end of the year.

To make money from Google is not easy in the first place not to talk about making millions in Nigeria. In Nigeria, getting N1m is like getting $6500 at an exchange rate of about N165 to a Dollar.

An Adsense publisher's income in Nigeria is directly relative to the amount of traffic his content gets as well as other things such as clicks, cost per click, niche and so on.

A publisher whose website content receives about 1 million unique views in a month may be able to make N1m while another person with 50,0000 unique visits might also be able to make N1m if his website is in a higher paying niche/industry and so attracts higher income per click.
