In a Country where a huge percentage of her Workforce is either Unemployed or under employed, the issue of getting a high paying Job has turned to a major concern for a whole lot of People. With few higher paying jobs around and many People scrambling for it, the issue of getting a higher paying job may seem to be out of reach. WHAT YOU NEED TO GET A HIGHER PAYING JOB IN NIGERIA:
-EDUCATION: This is one of the basic requirements for getting a high pay job anywhere. When I mean education, I mean going to a higher Institution of learning and graduating with good grades. You can take Professional courses relating to you field, you can head over to take a Master’s Degree in your field, attend Seminars relating to your Career field. Just note that anything you choose, just make sure that you’re adding value to yourself. Even after you land your dream job, don’t ever stop learning. If you do, you get stale, and no Company wants to have an Employee who doesn’t have anything to contribute to the Company’s growth.

-DEVELOP SOFT SKILLS AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS: These Soft skills have to do with your ability to communicate with others and it involves both verbal and non-verbal means of communication. This is because, higher paying Jobs often takes you to a higher level or position of leadership where employee communication is very vital. The ability to communicate both with words and body language is an important skill that can lead to a higher paying job in management or related field.

- NETWORK WITH LIKE MINDS: The two things that determine how far a Person would go in life is first; the book the Person reads and secondly whom the Person associates with. It is important to network with like minds and also too network with People of influence in your field. Surround yourself with People who you wish to contact or People whose qualities you admire and wish to acquire. This can be achieved by attending Career events and Career talk, mingle with such people, make an impression your skills and network with them. With you have more chances of being called upon when such positions are available.
