Arthritis is a health condition that occurs when there fraction on the joints; and the friction occurs when the cartilage that serves as a lubricant wears off and bones touch on bones. Millions of people around the world suffer from this painful health condition.

Some natural remedies that can give you relief from arthritis pain include;

1. Weight Loss: health specialists have found out that the extra weight in the body adds pressure to the joints on the knees and ankle and increase arthritis pains; a little weight loss can help relief the pressure off your joints and relief pains. Weight loss is assumed as a permanent relief for arthritis. Also exercise is also said to be a remedy to reduce the friction on the joints.

2. Cold Water Therapy: this is considered as the fastest relief to arthritis pain and it is also temporary; you can add ice blocks into a cloth or pad and place it directly over the joints, you will feel a quick relief from the pains.

3. Apply Balm: another natural remedy that can serve as a quick relief to arthritis is to apply balm on the affected joint areas. You can go visit a massage parlour with mentholated rubs and balms, and ask the masseur to firmly massage the balm on your joints.

4. Taking Omega 3 Acids: omega 3 acids is a type of fatty acids found in some food; it is said to serve as a lubricant to affected joints. Some foods that have a high content of omega 3 acid are; fish and avocado.

5. Exercising: The patient also needs to exercise from time to time as staying idle can worsen the situation. He/she needs to move his legs and hands gently but regularly by either walking doing yoga or swimming.

6. Taking Onions or garlic as pain relievers: Those natural herbs also help relieve arthitic pain

7. Eating seafood like crayfish and shrimps: This can help rebuild joints and ligaments that have been worn down as a result of arthritis
