Running stomach popular known as diarrhea is a common stomach issue experience by most people from time to time. Some of the causes of diarrhea include; stomach flu, eating a meal that does not agree with your stomach, infection by bacteria, food poisoning, and food allergy. Some of the signs or symptoms of diarrhea are; thin or loose stool, sense of urgency to have a bowel movement, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal bloating. Letís look at some of the things you can do when you have a running stomach;

- Eat thick food: since your is stomach is loose, you can focus on eating thicker food to help stomach the diarrhea; food like oatmeal, plain rice, apple sauce, baked chicken without the skin, or boiled potatoes these will help thicken your stool.

- Eat fruits without fibre contents: a fruit without fibre like banana helps to stop running stomach; some people recommend lemon juice without the fibre content with a teaspoon of honey helps stop diarrhea.

- Drink plenty water: though water is the last thing a diarrhea patient will feel like taking, but drink plenty of water goes a long water to help stop running stomach.

- Abstain from food that causes the allergy: if the running stomach is caused by food allergy, you should totally stop eating the meal until the diarrhea stops or even after that to avoid future occurrence.
