Exercise is very good for a healthy life. The benefits of regular exercise cannot be over emphasized. One simple exercise that everybody can engage in is walking.

Walking is a very important exercise, in fact it is said that anybody that takes 60,000 steps daily will not have need for a doctor in a long while. Let’s look at how walking can increase a person’s life span

- It keeps your heart healthy: One of the major reasons why many people don't live to be a 100 years old is because of heart related diseases. When you talk long walks, the heart beats faster and blood circulation takes place then, this helps to exercise you heart and burns down unnecessary fats that may cluster the heart area, and this in turn keeps away heart disease like heart failure, heart attack away, and absence of this diseases leads to a longer lifespan.

- It helps to Strengthen your bones and muscles: When you take walks daily, it strengthens your bones and tones your muscles. A person that does this will hardly have issues like rheumatism or arthritis later in life.

- Keeps You In A Better Mood: It has been proved that exercise releases enzymes in the body that helps boost good feelings, and the holy book Bible says that a merry heart is life in the bones.

- It Boosts Creative Thinking: Walking exercise allows the brain to receive more air, and it has been proven that people think more clearly and creatively after exercise. So for anybody who has regular need for creative and critical thinking, long walks can be a mental boost to help the person with ideas.
