During pregnancy period, the belly expands to accommodate the growing foetus. At this time also, the expectant mother gain weight. After delivery of the baby, mothers find it difficult to get back their pre-pregnancy shape and they need quick result oriented ways to achieve that shape. Some are fortunate and has the natural physique that reverts back to its pre- pregnancy shape but many are not. Something has to be done, to remove the excess belly fat after the delivery of the baby. Post –pregnancy belly fat can be removed by the following quick ways:

1. Regular breast feeding: This is very important for the new born. As a mother breast feed her new born when necessary, calories are burned up to produce breast milk, and it helps in the reduction of accumulated fat in the body. It has been found that women who breast feed on regular basis experience tremendous weight loss than those holding back their breast milk from their new born.

2. Moderate exercise: Exercise is necessary for you as a mother if you must lose weight, but make sure you engage in light form of exercise like walking , dancing, swimming and aerobic exercises. You should avoid strenuous exercise.

3. Eat right foods: Stock your kitchen with the right kinds of foods. Many get it wrong when it comes to food. As a nursing mother, it is necessary your body regain back its nutrients lost during pregnancy and child birth. However, you should consider what you eat, not just anything that comes your way as food. You should consume fat burning foods like vegetables, proteins, and not fattening foods.

4. Plenty of drinkable water: You need enough water in your body on daily basis to keep it properly hydrated .Water also helps in elimination of toxins in the body and its enhancement as well. Water also help in body metabolism thus the the elimination of excess fat. Take at least 8 glasses of water daily, as dehydration can slow down or hinder fat loss.

5. Avoid starvation: Do not think that self starvation helps in elimination of body fats, no it doesn’t. Starving yourself is dangerous to your health as a nursing mother and the body will not recover quickly. All you need is an effective weight loss meal plan to follow and you’ll get back your pre-pregnancy shape.
