Mango is a favorite fruit liked by almost everybody. Mangoes come in various species and are usually eaten raw. Some people eat both the green back and the orange flesh inside, while others prefer to eat first the inside. Apart from its juicy, nice taste, there are numerous health benefits that it provides for the body, and these include:

- Helps to improve the eye sight and clear the skin: The beta-carotene contained in the fruit helps to replenish dead body cells, make it look smooth and soft. While the vitamin A in it helps improve the eye sight and helps in the treatment of night blindness.

- Mango is recommended for pregnant ladies because it helps to increase the speed of the baby’s mental and physical development.

- Finally, mango helps to low cholesterol, regulates blood pressure and assists the heart and muscles to function well, because the high quantity of potassium contained in the fruit.
