Fidelity bank is one of the foremost banks operating in Nigeria; they operate many types of accounts which includes; student’s account, savings account, current account and fixed deposit accounts. Opening a savings account with Fidelity bank is very easy and for this article, I will take you through the process of how to open a savings account with Fidelity bank.

Things you need to open a savings account with fidelity bank include:

-2 Passport photographs; an identity card, (it can be a school ID, a driver’s license, a national ID card, or a Nigerian passport), A recent utility bill of not older than 3 months, and a minimum deposit of N5, 000.

After you have the above mentioned items, go to any Fidelity bank near you and meet the Staff at the Customer care desk and tell him or her that you wish to open a savings account. You will be given a form to fill after which the Staff will collect you passport and staple it to the form. Your ID card and utility bill will be photocopied while the original copy will be returned to you. The Customer care Staff will request for your minimum balance deposit.

The account will be opened immediately for you and you will be issued an account number and your withdrawal slip. If you wish to have a debit card that is an ATM card, you will be given a different form to fill out after which you will be asked to come back in the next 5 working days and collect your card.
