How to pass JAMB without cheating

JAMB exam is a yearly entrance exam for anybody that wants to be admitted into a Higher Institution in Nigeria. Each student has to sit for 4 subjects in the JAMB exam, with English being compulsory subject. The candidate has to choose 3 other subjects related to the course they want to study. The total score in the exam is 400 and Students are expected to score at least 200, before they can proceed to Post JAMB. Because of the number of Students that fail the entrance exam each year, many Students resort to desperate measures such as cheating in order to pass the exam upcoming next year. The truth is that JAMB exam is easy and can be passed with flying colours when you work hard for it.

Some tips on how to pass JAMB without cheating include:

- Start your preparation in advance: Most People procrastinate studying till the exam is just a few weeks away, and they try to cram everything at once. It does not always work that way; start preparing a long time to the exam so that as the exam is drawing near, you will switch to revision not reading afresh.

- Have A study timetable and stick to it: Since JAMB is just 4 subjects, have a timetable that covers the 4 subjects and make out more time for subjects you are having difficulties with.

- Make Use of Past Question Papers: JAMB always repeat their questions a lot. It is advisable that Candidates sitting for JAMB exam make out time to study past questions from at least 7 years back. You will find that they repeat more of their questions and it will give you an edge in the exam.

- Read the exam rules and obey them: Not following the rules can make you be be disqualified when taking your exam. So this normally avoids taking foreign objects into the exam hall, talking to another candidate and so on.
