Why Tablets are preferred to Laptops

A Tablet is a computer in a compacted form. It has most basic features of a laptop. Most People prefer Tablets to laptops, not minding the fact that a laptop has more advantage over a tablet or can do more work than it. For instance, the processor that comes with a laptop is better than that of a tablet and a laptop
has better hard disk space than a tablet.

Let’s review some reasons why People still prefer a tablet over a laptop despite the advantages we mentioned above.

- Portability: When it comes to portability, a tablet is more portable and easy to carry around than a Laptop which is heavier and not so easy to carry around at all times.

- Price: A tablet is most times cheaper than a laptop. Since the introduction of good tablets from china, the cost of buying a tablet has come down, an average person can afford to buy a tablet these days, while the prize of most laptops are still on the high side.

- Battery Life: the battery life of a tablet is much better than that of a laptop. A typical battery of a tablet can last up to 4 to 8 hours or more while for most laptops, their average battery life is 2 hours.

- Dual usage: Some tablets has the features of a mobile phone, so you can use it as a phone, to receive messages, make and receive calls and do other things you can with a phone, but a laptop is strictly a computer and may not be able to perform the functions of a mobile phone.
